A Reflective Workbook

Burnout changes you. But so does recovery.
This workbook is designed to help you rediscover the parts of yourself that got buried under survival mode. It’s gentle, reflective, and entirely yours to move through at your own pace.
PART 1: Noticing What’s True Now
Prompt 1: What feels different now that I’m no longer in crisis mode?
Prompt 2: When I give myself space to rest, what thoughts or feelings come up?
Prompt 3: How do I spend time when no one needs anything from me?
PART 2: Reconnecting With Your Inner Self
Prompt 4: What did I love doing before burnout took over?
Prompt 5: What activities make me lose track of time (even a little)?
Prompt 6: What am I curious about right now, even if it feels impractical?
PART 3: Rebuilding From Within
Prompt 7: What do I want my energy to feel like in a typical week?
Prompt 8: What values feel non-negotiable to me now?
Prompt 9: Who do I want to be in this next chapter—not what do I want to do, but who?
PART 4: Small Experiments in Rediscovery
Try one of these each week and reflect on the experience:
- Take a walk without headphones or a phone
- Do something creative without a purpose (doodle, hum, write badly on purpose
- Cook something slowly
- Say “no” to something low-stakes and notice how it feels
- Revisit a hobby from the past, even briefly
Reflection Prompt:
What did this small act reveal about what I value or need right now?
Closing Reflection
Prompt 10: What part of me am I most excited (or scared) to reconnect with?
Prompt 11: What gentle truth am I ready to admit to myself?
Prompt 12: If I could give the next season of my life a title, what would it be?
Final Words
Remember: healing doesn’t mean becoming who you were.
It means becoming more fully who you are.
This is not about perfection.
It’s about presence.
